The Masai Mara, 1510 km2 of wildlife photographers heaven. Your view of the place depends alot on how you experience it. If you are serious about wildlife photography then stay at a camp deep inside the reserve for as long as you can afford. The more time you spend in the reserve the more you are rewarded. Make sure your camp uses 4wd vehicles and not matatus.
Famous for its big cats, the park does have the "big five" but you are doing well if you see a black rhino. The other drawcard of the Masai Mara is the wildebeest migration. The sheer numbers of wildebeest has to bee seen to be believed.
A classic East African safari destination.
