Ok I will admit I am kind of biased, I do connect strongly with Southern Africa but there is something special about Kruger. We have done some of the best private reserves and parks in Africa but there is something very cool about doing your own thing. Yes Kruger can be crowded down south but there is still plenty of room to get away from people. The frustrations are more than balanced by the joy of self drive discovery. You can see the big 5 but there is so much more to see and the ability to be out when the light is nice means you can find opportunity everyday.
